This family was so great to work with. I feel like I say that all the time, but it's so true! All of these wonderful people keep letting me in on a little sliver of their lives and I just don't think it could ever get old to me. This particular family was here for their little guy's newborn pictures. He had a little stint in the hospital after he was born so he was a little older than a typical newborn (a whopping three weeks...haha), but that meant he was bright eyed, expressive and really able to stare me down which I always love! All around, it was a great session :)

Miranda | Class of 2014 | Milwaukee Newborn, Family, Senior Photographer

So Miranda here made my job incredibly easy. Not only is she beautiful (obviously), but she was super easy going and just went with whatever ideas I had for her. I think her attitude completely showed through in her photos - she looks so relaxed and happy in all of them! Mission accomplished if you ask me :)

Christopher | 6 Days | Milwaukee Newborn Photographers

I was extra super excited to meet this little guy because he's the firstborn of some really great friends. It's always exciting to see your friends transition from a couple to a couple of parents! And this boy's mama? To say she is in love wouldn't even come close. I'm pretty sure she literally missed him while I was taking his pictures even though she was right there in the room with us :) I think he missed her too because when she was close and her hand was near him, he was visibly calmer than when she was a few feet farther away sitting in a chair. So sweet.

Christmas Mini Sessions

I've been hemming and hawing about whether to offer something like this my first year in business...I wanted to make sure I could do it right and give everyone a top notch experience! With a little research and planning, however, I was able to come up with a great offer that I am really excited and confident about. I found a perfect location that will let clients decide exactly what kind of "feel" they want for their photos so now all I can do say a little prayer that it doesn't rain that day! But if it does, we have a rain day so we should be covered :)

Edith | 10 Days | Milwaukee Newborn Photographer

Edith's first ever photo session was broken into three equal parts, as I realized once I went through all of the photos. About a third of her photos are of her sleeping, another third are of her awake and peacefully taking in the world, and the final third are of her in her parents' arms where she was very, very happy to be at the time! It made for a really great mix of images in my opinion :)

Nathan | 10 Days | Milwaukee Newborn Photographers

Nathan has two claims to fame in my book....he was both the tiniest and the smiliest baby I've worked with so far! Usually I'm happy to get one or two shots of a newborn with a grin....well about of a third of Nathan's final photos are of him with some form of a smile on his cute little face. So fun :)

Kinsley | 7 Days | Milwaukee Newborn Photographer

It was so great to do this newborn session because I got to photograph her mama's baby belly just a few weeks prior and it was fun to see the transition! {Maybe I should start offering maternity sessions?!} Plus she is just adorable :)
